All classes run six weeks and are held after school from 3:00 - 4:00pm. 
Each class is $60.00 plus corresponding supply fee.

  • ECO CLASS: SCHOOLYARD HABITAT -- Mr. Yee -- Grades K - 8* (Limited class size. Priority given to upper grades first. Registration opens for Grades 6 - 8 on Monday, March 14. If space is still available, registration will open to Grades 3 - 5 the week of March 21, and then to Grades K - 2.)

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

AHOY MATEY!  + $10 supply fee

Come join our pirate crew as we set sail for the High Seas! Our pirate fun begins with a pirate adventure story and a pirate snack. We will be making our own pirate gear from hats and flags to pirate maps and even get a new Pirate name! We will end our adventure by following the clues to a treasure hunt and graduate with our own Junior Pirate certificate and receive our swords. Hurry, our ship will be sailing soon!

COOK WITH A BOOK  +$15 supply fee

Students will enjoy enjoy a hands on cooking experience that is theme based on a story. Students will build self-confidence as a successfully follow a recipe to create delicious snacks and desserts to eat.  Each student will bring home a recipe book at the end of the classes with all the stories and recipes we created. We are a nut-free class! Come join us as we STIR up some great fun!

CARTOONING  (NO supply fee)

Students will learn basic concepts of cartooning/illustration!

SCULPTURES AND CLAY  +$5 supply fee

Students will first paint and create a Sculpture. The students will then use clay to create small pinch pots to paint and bring home for some spring planting!

ECO CLASS: SCHOOLYARD HABITAT  +$15 supply fee

Students will learn about ecosystem biodiversity, native plants, and pollinators by participating in a hands-on experiment to see what happens when a small patch of grass is left un-mowed and allowed to return to a native meadow. What native plans and "weeds" will grow? What types of insects, butterflies, and birds will it attract? Students will also plant a pollinator garden and learn about native plants that attract monarch butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.

CHEERLEADING CLUB  (NO supply fee)

This course is an introduction to the basic fundamentals of cheerleading. The members will learn and practice arm motions, jumps, and cheers.
